10:00 AM - 12:30 PM last 15 minutes is a Q & A for parents with any questions about our classes or the acting industry.
Limit: 10 Students
$120 for one class

This is an ongoing auditioning workshop for young actors. This class can be taken often to help young actors hone their skills and keep improving in between auditions. It is also geared for young actors who are new and curious about the industry. We are introducing and strengthening their skills to be better prepared when they go to auditions.

All students are given selected scripts to fit them individually from actual auditions at Nancy Hayes Casting and featured films. In addition to the script work they will learn the basics of improv skills used in many auditions.

Each child will go through the many types of auditions in front of the camera: The slate, camera techniques, cold reads, prepared scripts, and improv. We will practice taking direction and improve upon their listening skills. Taking the kids step by step through typical auditions helps remove the anxiety of these first auditions and replace it with fun and confidence. We want more than anything that the kids have fun while learning because when it comes down to it acting is fun!
